Let's Move on!

Oh my it's been a long time since I've posted anything! A friend recently commented that she was tired of seeing the over priced bread!! Guess what, me too. Half the reason is that I do not like this new format for blogger and it seems impossible to use. But again I say let's move on!
Last weekend The Princesses had a great opportunity to go on a trip. It was called "blast to the past" and it was an overnight trip. They got to see so many great historical sights and experience a barn dance. Such great times! They loved the tour bus and I am sure I will be hearing about the bus for a long time.

Miss Cinderella was also asked to dance at the barn dance! She was so excited and I was so happy for her!  This was her first dance with a boy.

 They left early on Saturday morning and came back Sunday evening.  After they returned  the next few hours were filled with fun (okay maybe not!)  they involved a little bit of vomiting from motion sickness and packing for another adventure.  More on that later!

Over priced?

Sorry for the blurry picture but I was trying to be discreet! Do you see the price on this? Yes it is marked $11.49 for a loaf of pumpkin bread. Is that not crazy to you?   I am sure that it is delicious and made with the best organic ingredients but who can afford to buy this?!  I guess a once in a blue moon treat. 

How gross is this?!

Last week while going to that place that we love to hate (wally world) I parked beside this disgusting pile and look there were boots in it!!  Seriously, do people just throw their boots out in a parking lot?! My theory was that it was teenage girls from the nearby school that thought they were too cool for boots. Moral of the story don't throw your boots out in a big pile of melting snow because some crazy woman will be wondering how they got there!

Happy Birthday Princess Belle!

Seriously how does this happen?!  They really do grow up so fast.

Bliss

I just love this....

She is growing up and look at how tall she is.  She is up to my chin! Oh my between this and the orientation for junior high it makes me feel old!

California Dreaming

Last week Rhino was in sunny southern California.  Life is rough isn't it!  He was taking a course for work.  As an added "bonus" he got an education about life in SoCal.  He know knows that at Ocean Boulveard you do not turn right on a red light.  Luckily he didn't get a ticket! 

While he was there there this happened "an Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent shot his co-worker in an office dispute before being shot and killed by another colleague Thursday afternoon at the Glenn M. Anderson Federal Building."  It was scray stuff according to the news report over 100 FBI agents and police were on site. It made it next to impossible for Rhino to get back into his hotel.

 

At his hotel they were shooting an episode of Criminal Minds.  We love that show and will have to be on the look out for this episode.  This was one of the props.

After his course and exam were done he had some free time. He squeezed in a trip to The Grove to go to American Girl. Two girls I know made out pretty good from this stop!

He went on a TMZ tour.  He said it was fun and now we know what TMZ stands for!  Do you know what it stands for?

His tour guide who sometimes appears on the show.  Personally, I have only ever watched TMZ for about 2 minutes total.  But now I will have to watch to see if I see her.

 He went to a hockey game on Saturday night and meet Charlie Simmer.

 He also met Brett Wilson.

But all good things come to an end and he had to come back.  We went to the airport to get him and while waiting for him to clear customs we saw him on this screen first.  So we called him and told him to stand there so we could get a picture!

It's been a while

It's been a while since I've been on here.  So what's up?! Mom got moved in and for some reason I found it very funny that the moving truck needed a pull behind trailer.

Miss Cinderella has been learning about moon phases and had to do a moon observation.  This was her project to represent the moon phase that she saw.

 While Miss Cinderella was a way at Pajama Camp..this Princess had a serious cuddle session with Belle (the cat).

 I have also been working on my scrapbooking again. I finally just finished our trip to Mexico from last year. Such good memories.

 Sorry about the funky colors in this one..but it is really nice!

The girls have 5 days off school starting today.  I hope that we can all sleep in and enjoy it! Rhino is in Long Beach this week and at his hotel they are shooting an episode of Criminal Minds.  That is one of our favorite shows so that is pretty neat.
