Manicure time

These pictures make my heart smile - manicure time!  When Rhino was in California in February he purchased a few items from one of those vendor carts...CRAZY!  All his ladies got a manicure kit and this was the buffing demonstration!

First Day of School

Well it came and went!  All in all it was a good first week. Princess Belle stayed in the same school and  was happy with her teacher.  But was sad that her bestie wasn't in her class.  Unfortunately, she caught a cold and gave it to her sister and me!  Miss Cinderella changed schools this year and that was stressful but so far it has been a great transition.  Still getting used to lockers, gym strips and cafeterias!  I am sure it will all come in time.

Activities have already started and already I am feeling overwhelmed!

Summers over!

Wow again time flies!  I cannot believe that I will have 2 Princesses returning to school in 2 days.  We had a great summer and the weather has been just great.  This summer we did some camping, some day trips, and lots of hanging out.

We had an awesome summer road trip to Southern California.  Perfect weather, lots to do, experienced 2 earthquakes, saw a protest and had lot of fun!

We took so many pictures almost 2200 so you may be seeing more pictures than you want on here.  Today is full of getting binders organized for school, yard work and the dreaded garage clean out!

Wrap Up

Lots of stuff to catch up on!  It has been a busy week.  We started off with Princess Belle's dance recital on Sunday night.  It was such a good night and the dancing was great.  The BEST part was that she won an award!  She was so excited.  Her award was for most improved student in modern dance.  Unfortunately here is the only picture we have of her after getting the award.  By this time everyone was done as it was almost 11:00 pm!

Then on Tuesday Miss Cinderella had her celebration ceremony to mark the end of Grade 6. It was such a well planned out event.  Too bad the weather didn't cooperate and it was a bit cool and rainy for the balloon release and dance. Get ready for picture overload.

Growing up is hard!

Especially on the Mom!  On Friday night Miss Cinderella was invited to her best friends 13th birthday.  The party was at the mall.  She was so excited and even woke up at 6:00 am to get the day going.  All the girls went to Sephora and had make overs, went shopping and then out to dinner!

I was shocked at how grown up she looked. After I got over my shock I was just amazed at how beautiful she has become.  Now if only we could slow down time!

Wednesday afternoon

School is almost finished and it was a rainy cool day here.  I decided to surprise the girls with an afternoon  off of school (which I have never done before!).  We came home as usual for lunch and when we were driving back to school I just kept going.  The Princesses were yelling "Mom you missed the turn!".  I was trying to keep a straight face and just kept going.  I then said 'let's ditch school this afternoon and go to the movies!"  The replies were "okay I know you are kidding and are going to turn around" and "I feel a bit guilty".  We did go to the afternoon showing of The Lucky One and really liked it.  And oh my did Zac Efron ever grow up!

Afterwards, we went for a little bite to eat at Opa.

Oh what a fun day and I know they will remember this for a long time!
