I am sorry...

I am sorry that you feel that way.  Remember this phrase it will do you well.

A very wise person told me about this phrase today.  It is a nice way of saying sorry to someone when really you have nothing to be sorry about. It would probably work well on husbands too!!!  Just kidding, well maybe not.

I had an awful experience of having to call someone to apologize for something that I wasn't even involved in today.  It was a horrible experience.  What made it even worse was not receiving the acknowledgment back that I had expected.  Again I will repeat this phrase and memorize it...

I am sorry that you feel that way.  Enough said! 

This has taken up too much of my life already and I will now remember to use this phrase if I ever have this situation again!

You are kidding right?!

All over blogland you read and see all these fabulous finds from either Craiglist's or Goodwill.  I am envious of these bloggers that get such great "finds".  However, where we are located the selection and prices suck!  Case in point....

I bought some of these at my local home improvement store and I think they were about $6.00 each.  Not too bad.  At my local Value Village they had one of these complete with lovely black grease marks on it for $4.99.  Seriously?!  I've even seen some things there that are priced higher than they are new(for example Ikea frames).   Why can't we have the selection and prices of our US counterparts?  Perhaps, I should start the blogland boycott of thrift stores here!  Care to join me?

Cold weather...

sucks!!  Last night it was -31 with the wind chill.  Apparently, it will be better tomorrow.  In the meantime I can think about this to keep me warm.  How fun is this - Rhino doesn't like it but I do!

Mother of the Year Award - Gone!

Princess Belle has had a cough for one week today.  No other symptoms just a cough.  I'll admit it is a barky cough but again no fever, no aches, no sore throat you get the picture.  I *hate* when people run to the Doctor for every little thing like a little cough!  Usually these things resolve themselves within 7-10 days as it is usually viral, right?  This morning I wasn't sleeping as the cough was keeping me up and my girl that likes to sleep was up at 6:00 because of the cough.  Okay, now I figure we better go to the Doctor.  We go to our local walk in clinic at 8:30 and are 6th in line.  Whew good thing because when they opened they said it would be a 2 hour wait.  Luckily, we only waited about 1 hour. 

The diagnosis shocked me - PNEUMONIA!!  Hear me PNEUMONIA!!!!!!

I could have been blown over by a feather.  I felt so bad.  However, after having a chest x-ray it is a very mild case and we were told to just continue our routine and take the awful tasting medicine for 10 days.

Oh my, I may now be going to the Doctor  for everything!  And I do have another 11 months to make up for this!

1,2,3....

I've been in a mood....to scrapbook!  It feels so good to get things done and I just want to get more done!  I am going to try not to buy any embellishments, etc for a long time.  Because after all I already have enough supplies to last for a lifetime.  I only plan to buy cardstock for the next bit.  It shouldn't be hard to do....right?!

I have so many things I want to work on and it can be overwhelming to think about all the pictures just sitting and waiting......

I have a huge table to work on but for some odd reason I end up collecting so much stuff on the table that I only have a 14X14 spot to work on!  maybe I'll get brave an show you a picture of that next.

I am meeting with my "lady" to get some albums to get these pages into albums instead of a box! 

Can anyone guess how many pages are in the pile?  Hint 1,2,3........

Princess Belle just guessed 50.  But sadly she is wrong. I could only wish!

Whew made it thru the first week of the New Year!  I have to say it was a bit lonely on Tuesday after having the family home for the break.  The kids had a bit of a rough go getting up especially Princess Belle - she likes to get up between 9 - 10 those are her preferred waking hours!  So 7:00 is a bit of a shock to her body.

Today will be a busy one - a playdate in the afternoon and then a birthday party tonight.  And then tomorrow morning Rhino and I are going to a surprise birthday party.  Today is also the Rhino's last day at the company that he has been working at for 3 1/2 years.  Change should be good!

Here's hoping your Friday will be great!  I hope this is how I'll be feeling in a few hours I've been up since 4:00!
